Introduction to Hypoestes

Hypoestes phyllostachya, commonly known as the Polka Dot Plant, is one of the most cheerful and colorful small houseplants available. Native to Madagascar, South Africa, and Southeast Asia, this charming plant is prized for its vivid, spotted foliage in combinations of green with pink, red, white, or purple — each leaf splashed with contrasting dots and splashes of color that give it its delightful common name. Light Requirements
